American coffee standard is 55g/L. European standard is 70g/L. 6 cups (@5oz/cup) = .9 L. So the 6 cup range is 49.5g-63g. Seems like 60g is a good starting point. That said, the French roast smells like charcoal. If I used it at all, I would probably blend with a lighter roast.
